Chapel at Kalk Bay and School House, 1863 - 1867
Scope and Contents
142 x 69 mm. Showing the small chapel and schoolhouse standing on the foreshore at Kalk Bay, with boulder-strewn beach in the foreground and a rocky hill in the background. A note in C.W. Busk's hand adds: 'Kalk Bay when I visited it in 1914 was closely built all along the road on both sides with houses and the railway on the rocks, also Muisenberg beach, quite unrecognizable from what this photo shows in 1863-7'.
