Scope and Contents
213 x 167 mm. A view looking south-west along Adderley Street towards The Parade, with the Railway Station (completed circa 1879) in the foreground, the Commercial Exchange (partly obscured) beyond it and the Dutch Reformed Church on the far side of the Parade. With hansom cabs lined along the centre of the street and Table Mountain dominating the skyline in the background. The warehouse of Eaton, Busk and Co.
