Scope and Contents
144 x 100 mm. Showing the mass grave, surrounded by a stone wall, of the men who fell at Bronkhorst Spruit (see Y3055A/39). The inscription on the wooden cross reads ‘Sacred to the memory of the 53 N.C. Officers and Men H.M. 94th Regt A.S. Corps killed in action here 20th December 1880’.
