The caption on the reverse reads 'The 4,500-mile Chobe Game Reserve, named after the Chobe River, a main source of the Zambesi River contains a superb variety of wild animals, including many species which are rare or extinct in other parts of Africa'. A more lengthy caption summarises the physical and human geography of the Bechuanaland Protectorate.
