Scope and Contents
65 x 41 mm. Showing a group of Damara refugees (see introduction) walking through grassland. Reproduced in Hodson facing p 93 where the location is identified as Otse. Hodson found about 250 refugees at Otse, many of whom were suffering from smallpox and on the verge of starvation. After destroying their arms and giving strict instructions that the group should isolate themselves, Hodson arranged for their transfer to Kgentsa.
