Scope and Contents

102 x 59 mm. A view showing the Sultan of Zanzibar, Seyyid Khalifa Bin Harub, and other members of the official party stopping on to the jetty at Chumbe Island for the opening of the new lighthouse. Walking beside the Sultan are Ernest Costley-White, the Acting Resident, and Captain Clement Charlewood, Port Officer for Zanzibar.
