Scope and Contents
155 x 113 mm. Showing Jackson crouching gun in hand next to the dead buffalo. This photograph is not mentioned in Gedge’s diary but on January 20th both he and Jackson shot bull buffaloes and the background scenery of the photograph resembles that seen in Y30468K/60. The following day Gedge’s diary records that he was ‘busy… skinning birds and washing photos’; these are probably the pictures referred to. See also LS/23.
