European Group, Zanzibar, 1890 - 1905
Scope and Contents
212 x 150 mm. Showing a group of five Europeans, probably at the British Residency in Zanzibar. Standing at the left is Basil Cave with Mrs Mary Cave (nee McClellan) seated in a wicker chair in front of him. At the left of the group is John Houston Sinclair (1871-1961) at this period Vice Consul at Zanzibar and later Consul (1906). The remaining two figures are unidentified.
