Scope and Contents
114 x 160 mm. A head and shoulders profile portrait of a Hausa woman showing clearly her elaborate hairstyle. On the top of the head the hair is formed into a smooth peaked cap while at the side it is tightly bound into backward curving horns held close to the head.
