[Island of Philae], 1905 - 1906
Scope and Contents
814 x 202 mm. (panoramic view composed of three joined prints). A view showing the temples of Isis and ‘Pharaoh’s Bed’ (Temple of Harendotes) under several feet of water from the Aswan Reservoir, with the Island of Biggen in the background. The buildings on the island have now been removed to Agilkia (see ‘The Times’, March 8th 1980).
