Scope and Contents
262 x 198 mm. A view looking along the street towards Arabi Pasha's house, in front of which stands a contingent of marines posing for the photograph. Probably taken on July 14 when a party of marines landed to occupy the Ras-el-Teen Palace (situated on the peninsula to the west of the Arsenal).
