Bermuda Beach Scene, 1951 - 1953
Scope and Contents
A view looking out to sea from the Bermuda Beach. The caption on the face of the print reads: 'Typical of Bermuda's beaches is this sandy cove between rugged boulders of coral rock. Little secluded beaches like this extend along a good part of the south shore of the islands where a vacationist can find as secluded a spot as he likes for a picnic or a swim. The line of breakers seen in the distance marks the outer reefs'. Both the typed caption, and the reverse of the print (handwritten in pencil) have the reference 'B870'. The print is also stamped by the Bermuda News Bureau with the photographers name.
