The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'She is taken to see how another woman is learning. Sarah, a woman who was educated at Mbereshi Girls Boarding School is sitting here with her baby and she is teaching a friend who does not know how to read and write. Philip tells Jeneti to watch. She too can learn in the same way'.
