Scope and Contents
Showing waste being dug into a compost heap for eventual use as fertiliser in the forest nursery. The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'Offal and other waste material from the butcher's slabs goes directly into a compost pit from which the cimpost [sic] is eventually taken for use as fertiliser in the forest nursery. In the nursery are grown fruit and shade trees for distribution to the people'.
