Scope and Contents

The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'The parade, headed by a schoolboy band, and the Instructor with his wife who also instructs. The N on the banners stands for 'Namushishimuke' ('Wake Up') the title of the Mass Literacy primer in the Chila dialect'.
