Ogwofia village. Model latrines at village centre, 1940 - 1949
Scope and Contents
Exterior view of the corrugated-iron latrines. A typewritten caption (which duplicates most of a pencilled annotation) on the reverse reads 'They are for propaganda purposes to persuade individuals to use bore-hole latrines with washable cement seats'. The annotation differs only in the addition of the word 'portable' after the word 'cement'.
