Showing the incinerator (in the form of a mud kiln) in the centre of the village. The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'Other buildings on left - model latrines and Reading Room'. The pencilled annotation adds 'Incinerator just completed Rubbish dump extreme right with maternity[?] home under construction behind'.
