The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'The most ambitious building project undertaken by any village was that at Ngwo Uno where the people undertook to build a large village hall. It could not be completed owing to the lack of roofing materials, so a room in one corner was roofed and used as a Sub-Dispensary'. The pencilled annotation differs slightly and has the additional phrase 'in Udi Division' appearing after the words 'by any village' in the first sentence.
