Scope and Contents
185 x 133 mm. A view showing a small bungalow set on a low hill, with two women standing on the verandah. The flag pole in front of the house confirms an official function, although by 1899 this building was not the consulate (see Y309993A/36 for a photograph of the British Consulate during the war of 1899, a picture from another part of Wilfred Powell’s collection).
