Scope and Contents

200 x 150 mm. A view looking south east along Adderley Street with the General Post Office, completed in the late 1890s, in the left foreground. Trams and pony cabs are on the roadway and the portico of the Standard Bank can be partially seen beyond the post office at the Darling Street junction.
