A young male Okapi, 1913
Scope and Contents
99 x 76 mm. A view showing a young Okapi shot by Christy, with four Pygmy hunters squatting behind the animal (the two on the right being the ones who tracked this specimen). This was Christy's first Okapi and probably only the second of these shy beasts to be killed by a European in its native forests.
