Scope and Contents
258 x 207 mm. View from the seaward end of the breakwater looking towards the Customs House area, with construction work in progress in the foreground. H.M.S. ‘Bacchante’ and ‘Ruby’ are anchored in the harbour within the area enclosed by the breakwater. The two princes remained in Ceylon from 25th January to 6th February 1882.
