Events and Exhibitions Publications, 2002 - 2007
Scope and Contents
A file containing three publications produced by cultural organisations or for public events. These promotional items feature images of work created by either Roger Law, Luck & Flaw or Spitting Image. The following are present:
1. A spring 2002 programme for Greenwich Theatre. The cover features an image of the 'April Fools' illustration first used by Private Eye, as part of their 1992 British general election issue. This illustration has plasticine models of John Major, Neil Kinnock, Ian Paisley and Paddy Ashdown. This image also appears on page 4, illustrating an events listing for a satire week.
2. A booklet produced for the exhibition, Cover Story: The Art and Photojournalism of The Sunday Times Magazine, which was held between 6 September and 1 October 2006. There are several images of the magazine's front covers that feature work by Roger Law, and plasticine model illustrations by Luck & Flaw.
3. The Norwich Gallery publication, Dispatch 143, which documents the various exhibitions that have been held at that venue between 1980 and 2007. There is a small section on a Spitting Image exhibition, which was hosted between 10 June and 3 July 1985.
