Mining scenes in Australia, 1840 - 1900
Scope and Contents
Two undated pencil and watercolour sketches. The first is of a group of diggers by a stream with hills on either side and a tall hill in the background. It is marked in pencil 'outhern diggins' (the start of the word is trimmed off) and 'Browne'. The second picture is of a party of men with pack animals moving along a path with hill slopes in the background. It is marked in pencil 'Diggings' and 'Browne'.
