Scope and Contents
160 x 195 mm. The caption continues: 'This photograph illustrates what might be described as 'an agricultural partnership.' Many of the Arabs in the country districts carry on business as copra makers and small shopkeepers. The donkey is an essential partner in the business for it is used for the transport of agricultural produce to town and the replenishment of supplies for the shop from the markets of the town.' The image has been bordered with liquid paper. Photograph stamped on the reverse with 'Photograph on loan. Dorien Leigh Ltd.'
