Scope and Contents

Photographs of people, daily life and agriculture, many in Zanzibar, including thirty-two large prints and one watercolour (about 300 x 380 cm). Photographs are all numbered but only those with captions (54 out of 574) have been listed here. Also includes a number of photographs of the official visit by His Highness the Sultan of Zanzibar and the Sultana to The University College of East Africa (Makerere University), and 'N and E.P Safari 1959'. Some of these images are copies of those found elsewhere within the collection.
