A box containing four sub-files, which hold material relating to a number of business trips made by Roger Law and other personnel from Spitting Image Productions Limited to America. The first sub-file relates to a trip made by Law to present a lecture, Politically Incorrect: A Jaundiced History of Spitting Image, given at the New York School of Visual Arts, as part of a symposium, Modernism and Eclecticism, in February 1994. Business meetings were also arranged for Law, while in New York, with executives from the following television channels: Comedy Central; Home Box Office (HBO); and Nickelodeon. This trip to New York was preceeded by a family vacation to Mexico.

The contents of the second sub-file concerns Roger Law's visit to the States in June 1994, primarily to present a lecture at the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists' annual conference, held in New Orleans. Law also used this trip as an opportunity to arrange meetings with television executives and other individuals in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles. Also present are correspondence following Law's trip, regarding various parties' interest in doing business, and the arrangement of a meeting between Law and organisers from the UK/LA Festival.

The contents of the third sub-file relates to Roger Law's and Steve Bendelack's trip to New York in November 1994, in order to attend the International Emmy Awards. The Spitting Swanns' production, Peter and the Wolf: A Prokofiev Fantasy, was nominated for an award, which it subsequently won. Also present is material relating to the arrangement of business meetings with Byron Preiss Visual Productions, Savoy Commercials, and the William Morris Agency; and the promotion of the Screwball Films/Spitting Image Productions Limited animated short-film, The Big Story.

The final sub-file concerns Roger Law's, Tim Watt's and David Stoten's visit to Los Angeles in February and March 1995 to attend the Academy Awards. The Screwballs Films/Spitting Image Productions Limited short animated film, The Big Story, was nominated for an award. Material in the sub-file also relates to the arrangement of business meetings with various television and other executives in San Francisco and New York.

Material within these sub-files include, but are not limited to: business cards, correspondence, notes, contact sheets, ephemera, and itineraries.
