Overseas Business/Networking Trips, 1993 - 1999
Scope and Contents
Material relating to trips made by Roger Law to the United States of America and to Australia, sometimes accompanied by other members of staff from Spitting Image Productions Limited. The purpose of the American trips were to engage in business promotion, and to network with artists, television executives, advertising companies and others. Law and others also went over to the States to attend awards ceremonies.
The Australian trips were also for business and networking purposes, but there was also a strong personal element attached to them as well. Law's second trip to Australia was essentially an extended holiday for himself and his wife, Deirdre Amsden, which was also used by Law to explore non-SIPL-related employment opportunities.
