TV Times, 1984 - 1987
Scope and Contents
Four issues of the British weekly television magazine, TV Times. The following issues are present:
1. 25 February-2 March 1984 - the front cover contains a photograph of television astrologer, Russell Grant, accompanied by his Spitting Image puppet. Pages 4 to 6 feature an article on Spitting Image (SI/705 and 706).
2. 5-11 January 1985 - pages 13 and 14 feature an article on the upcoming second series of Spitting Image.
3. 16-22 March 1985 - the front cover contains a photograph of the Spitting Image puppet for British Conservative politician, Nigel Lawson. Pages 4 to 6 feature an article on Law's upcoming budget speech in Parliament, which incudes a photographic illustration containing puppets of Lawson, Margaret Thatcher, Norman Tebbit and Geoffrey Howe (SI/979 (a) and (b)).
4. 31 October-6 November 1987 - pages 4 and 5 feature an article on the upcoming fourth series of Spitting Image.
