Scope and Contents
Two files containing press-clippings, both originals and photocopies, taken from various British newspapers and some magazines. There is also the occasional cutting from international publications as well. The contents of the first file's clippings cover articles and reviews surrounding the second series of Spitting Image. The contents of the second file feature articles and reviews on the following, but are not limited to: Michael Heseltine's desire to purchase his puppet from the show; the theft of Margaret Thatcher's puppet head from the Spitting Image Workshop premises; the BBC Omnibus episode, Luck & Flaw's Illustrated Guide to Caricature; the Spitting Image exhibition in Glasgow [also held in Norwich and Rochdale in the summer of 1985]; and various merchandise for the show.
