A box containing scripts and other material relating to the first of three Spitting Image special episodes that were made for the American television network, NBC: Down and Out in the White House. This episode was aired on NBC in the summer of 1986, in two parts, and a re-edited version was later broadcasted on British television on 14 September 1986.

The box is split into three sub-files: a folder with scripts written by Wayne Kline, along with a small amount of other documentation; a folder with a camera script for the production, which bears the original title of this special episode: The Faking of the President; and a folder containing correspondence, running orders for both American and British versions of the episode, copyright documentation, and a final transcript for part 1 of the American version.
