Scope and Contents

A box containing sub-files holding contracts and accompanying letters and other documentation for puppeteers, who worked on some or all of the first six series of Spitting Image, between 1984 and 1989, along with the special episodes produced during that period. There are also contracts relating to public and television puppet appearance work, which go as far as 1990.

The following puppeteers are represented: Anthony Asbury; Donald Austen; Michael Bayliss; Simon Buckley; Marcus Clarke; Richard Coombs; Sue Dacre; John Eccleston; Louise Gold; Barnaby Harrison; Gerald Home; Brian James; and Alex Knight.
