Marx Brothers Masks, 1993
Scope and Contents
Three painted latex foam and chamois leather masks, made by the Spitting Image Workshop for the television production, A Prokofiev Fantasy with Peter and the Wolf, produced by Spitting Swanns Limited for the BBC. These masks resemble the members of the American comedy act, The Marx Brothers: Chico, Groucho and Harpo. They were worn by performers during the production (SI/373 (a to c)).
