Elephant pad bangle, 1890
Scope and Contents
A label originally attached to the bangle (80 mm in diameter) reads, 'Native Bangles made from the pad of Elephant which was shot in the Tonchia County (MENDI). These bangles are worn by the Hrubahs or head warriors'.
