Biographical / Historical

It appears that Marnham undertook a substantial tour in the Balkans and the Middle East in 1961. The fact that Marnham visited King Hussein of Jordan and was accompanied by Air Commodore Edwards, then a member of the Imperial Defence College Staff, suggests that the visit was in the course of his duties with that body.
