Separating cloves from clove stems, 1900 - 1910
Scope and Contents
240 x 187 mm. A view showing a group of Swahili pickers seated on rush mats around apile of cloves. After the cloves have been separated from the stems they are placed on mats to dry in the sun (see next plate).
