 File
Reference Code: GBR/0012/MS Add.10275/2/2/4/1

Scope and Contents

A large visifile containing full issues and tearsheets of newspapers, and a magazine printed on newsprint paper, which either feature plasticine model illustrations by Luck & Flaw or articles that relate to their work. The following publications are present: Le Matin de Paris, New Musical Express, The News Line, and The Sunday Times.

A 6 May 1978 issue of New Musical Express features a photograph on the cover and an article on pages 31 to 33, along with more photographs, relating to an Anti-Nazi League carnival held in London on 30 April 1978. Roger Law and Peter Fluck made giant polyurethane heads in the shape of British far-right activists, John Tyndall and Martin Webster, which were displayed at the event. These heads feature in a number of the photographs on the cover and in the article.

Also of note is a review article in the 22 May 1980 issue of The News Line, which relates to a BBC Arena documentary on the work of the partnership.

Photographic images of plasticine model illustrations were taken by either Bob Cramp or John Lawrence Jones.
