A Christmas Carol, 1978 - 1979
Scope and Contents
A box containing photographic material relating to Luck & Flaw's illustrated version of Charles Dickens' novel, A Christmas Carol, which was published by the Penguin Books' imprint, Allen Lane, in 1979. Work on this book took place between July 1978 and January 1979, and the photographic images of the plasticine models that adorn this edition of the novel were taken by John Lawrence Jones. Items present include: colour and black and white photographs of varying sizes; transparencies of different sizes, and 35mm slides.
There are also publicity shots of Roger Law, Peter Fluck and an assistant by Volker Krämer. These photographs were taken for a special Christmas edition of the German magazine, Stern, which featured images from the book.
