Stern, 1976 - 1981
Scope and Contents
Two files containing four issues of the German weekly current affairs magazine, Stern, which feature Luck & Flaw plasticine model illustrations.
The following editions are present:
1. 28 October 1976 (No. 45) - the front cover has an illustration of future American President, Jimmy Carter, dressed as a farmer; photographic image by Bob Cramp (L&F/30).
2. 19 July 1979 (No. 30) - pages 90 and 91 hold an illustration, which was originally used in the May 1976 issue of National Lampoon, as part of the EEC! Its the U.S. of E.! feature; photographic image by Bob Cramp (L&F/107 (b)).
3. A special 'Wiehnachten' [Christmas] supplement, which contains A Christmas Carol illustrations on pages 12 to 23; photographic images by John Lawrence Jones (L&F/38, 42, 45, 47, 52, 54, 56), except for a publicity image of Roger Law and Peter Fluck, taken by Volker Krämer (L&F/60). Also present is a note, attached to the supplement, from the Stern editor, Peter Hess, addressed to Law and Fluck.
4. 30 July 1981 (No. 32) - pages 17 (a) and 17 (b) have an illustration of Diana, Princess of Wales, carrying Prince Charles [afterwards King Charles III]; author of photographic image is unknown (L&F/32).
