Scope and Contents

A file containing two issues of the American humour magazine, National Lampoon, along with associated material, which feature Luck & Flaw plasticine model illustrations.

The following editions are present:

1. May 1976 - pages 65 to 71 hold 8 illustrations for a feature, EEC! It's the U.S. of E.! The model illustrations depict roles for the following nations in an integrated Europe: Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Some of the photographic images were taken by Bob Cramp, and others by John Lawrence Jones. The illustrations are captioned by Tony Hendra (L&F/107-115).

2. February 1978 - pages 53 to 58 hold 5 illustrations for a feature, Euronazism. The illustrations depict the forms of facism found in the following European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Accompanying the issue are page proofs for the article, and a photograph of a model Tony Hendra featured in the UK illustration. The photographic images were taken by John Lawrence Jones, and the illustrations are captioned by Hendra (L&F/102-106).

The illustrations for the May 1976 edition also featured in an issue of The Sunday Times Magazine and other publications.
