A box containing material relating to an illustrated version of Charles Dickens' novel, A Christmas Carol, which was published by the Penguin Books imprint, Allen Lane, in 1979. Luck & Flaw produced the plasticine model illustrations that appear in this edition, which were made between July 1978 and January 1979. The photographic images were taken by John Lawrence Jones.

The following items are present:

1. Two copies of the book in English, one in paperback and the other in hardback. The paperback version is a later 1986 reprint and published under Penguin Books. Both copies have inscriptions by Roger Law.

2. A copy of the book in German, published by Argos Press.

3. A copy of the book in Dutch, published by Free Spirit Productions.

4. Photographic proofs for the images found in this publication (L&F/38-59).

5. An Allen Lane catalogue showcasing new books for the period July 1979 to January 1980, which features an image of an Ebenezer Scrooge model on its cover (L&F/38), and further images and details on pages 14 and 15.

6. A small poster advertising the illustrated version of A Christmas Carol, featuring the Scrooge model illustration (L&F/38).
