Scope and Contents

A box containing six books published under the Penguin Books' imprint, Pelican, which feature images of plasticine model illustrations made by Luck & Flaw on their covers. There are also cover proofs for four of these books.

The following are present:

1. Cities: The Public Dimension, written by W. Harvey Cox, along with a cover proof; photographic image by Bob Cramp (L&F/120).

2. Franco and the Politics of Spain, written by Edouard de Blaye, along with two cover proofs; photographic image by Bob Cramp (L&F/127).

3. Money: Whence It Came, Where It Went, written by J.K. Galbraith; photographic image by John Lawrence Jones (L&F/129).

4. The Medical Risks of Life, written by Stephen Lock and Tony Smith, along with two cover proofs; photographic image by John Lawrence Jones (L&F/156).

5. Lonrho: Portrait of a Multinational, written by Margaret Ling, Suzanne and Gillian Cronjé, along with two cover proofs; photographic image by Bob Cramp (L&F/206).

6. Southern Africa: The New Politics of Revolution, written by Basil Davidson, Joe Slovo and Anthony R. Wilkinson; photographic image by John Lawrence Jones (L&F/214).

Also present is a cover proof for the book, Culture & Management, edited by Theodore D. Weinshall. This book was published by Penguin Books, rather than under the Pelican imprint. The photographic image is by John Lawrence Jones (L&F/25).
