Frank Sinatra Printing Block, 1967
Scope and Contents
A small metal printing block that has a photographic image on the printing surface, featuring Roger Law with his plasticine model of Frank Sinatra's head. This model head was mounted on a ball-jointed body and displayed at Madame Tussaud's in London, as part of the exhibition, Heroes-Live, which opened to the public on the 3 October 1967. The original photographic image was taken by British photographer, Sally Soames, and the printing block was perhaps used to reproduce said image in a publication, though which outlet that might have been is unknown.
