Glass Negatives, 1965 - 1967
Scope and Contents
19 glass negatives, which have originally been separated into five sets and contain images of illustrations by Roger Law, and also images of pages from publications that feature Law's work, along with images of other items. The following are present: a set that is primarily comprised of images relating to the 1967 Designers and Art Directors Association Awards, including an image of the 1967 silver award certificate received by Law; a set that contains images of artwork featured in the August 1967 issue of Gebrauchsgraphik International Advertising Art; a set that contains a couple of illustrations used in the book, Synthetic Fun, along with an image of the Roche Rock print used in a Shell Oil calendar, and an image of Charlie Parker from a page of The Sunday Times Magazine; a set that contains three illustrations drawn for the View from the Bench article, published in the 15 May 1966 edition of The Observer Magazine, along with a comical illustration using Blackpool Tower; and a final set that holds images of three illustrations used in the article, Everybody Anonymous, written by Peter Carrell and published in the 21 November 1965 issue of The Sunday Times Magazine.

These glass negatives originally came with the copy negatives (MS Add.10275/1/2/3/1/2), but have been physically separated from them.
