Scope and Contents
(1) ‘Johannis Magiri Physiologiæ peripateticæ’, an abridged copy of the ‘Physiologia Peripatetica’ of Johannes Magirus; the manuscript contains only four, and not quite ten chapters of the fifth, of the six books present in the printed version; (2) ‘De moralibus virtutibus Hieronimi Wildenbergii Aurimontani [i.e. Golberg in Silesia] epitome’, a treatise, in three books, on ethics, politics and economics, beginning ‘Moralis philosophia est scientia de moribus’; the chapters are headed ‘De jure’, ‘De justitiâ’, ‘De prudentiâ’, etc.; (3) ‘Quæstiones physicæ’, 35 leaves containing a single entry in each, anonymous, and containing references to Johannes Magirus.
