Scope and Contents

A treatise on the composition of a sermon, being a translation from Mr Claude, Minister of Charanton in Paris. Translated by 'L. D. M.' The manuscript contains only the first six chapters of the treatise, with a brief summary of the seventh chapter. After the words 'ninth and Tenth Chapters' is added 'finy le 8me de No. OS,' that is, 8 Nov. 1695. On the outside page is the address: 'For Madame Bouke at her house in Redlyon Square'.
