Alcoranus Latine (Koran); portion of the Summa of Thomas Aquinas, sixteenth century
Scope and Contents
The first 50 leaves contain the Arabic text as well as the Latin version, half only of either side of the leaf being written upon. After this the Latin version goes on alone, half one side of the leaf only being used, till f. 227, when the MS. proceeds in double columns on both sides of the leaf. On the back of f. 100 some one has written 'Alia [scilicet verso] ab hac habetur in Codd. Seldenianos MSS. Oxonii.' Bound up with this MS. at the beginning and end are five folio parchment leaves in double columns, written in the 15th century. They are a portion of the same MS. of the Summa of S. Thomas Aquinas, of which Dd.02.07 contains some fragments.
