W. Malmesbury, De Antiquitate Glasconiensis Ecclesiæ, 1566
Scope and Contents
Extracts from De Antiquitate Glasconiensis [Glastonbury] Ecclesiae made by William Darell, Canon of Canterbury and Chancellor of Bangor. Contains a leaf with a pen and ink drawing of the 'Scutum Henrici Sydnei, 1566' and on the other side Darell's dedication of the book to him, with the date Dec. 5, 1566. The date, March, 1617, is given at the end. This is the earlier portion of W. Malmesbury's treatise slightly abridged. It is written out in a clear hand, with lines ruled round each page.
