Sierra Leone Constitutional Talks Open in London, 1960-04
Scope and Contents
154 x 179 mm. Sir Milton Margai, Prime Minister of Sierra Leone (extreme right), the British West African dependency, is pictured with three other delegates at the opening session of the third and final Sierra Leone constitutional conference in Lancaster House. Left to right are Dr. J. Karefa-Smart, Minister of Mines, Lands and Labour since 1957; Mr. H.E.B. John, Minister of Education and Social Welfare since 1957; and M.S. Mustapha, Minister of Finance who had the honour of being the first Sierra Leonean to present the Budget.
