Scope and Contents
187 x 240 mm. A formal half-length portrait of Sir Alaidin Sulaiman Shah ibni Al-Marhum Raja Muda Musa (1865-1938), Sultan of Selangor 1896-1938. The protrait is signed, and dated November 18 1936, and the Sultan wears the order of the K.C.V.O. (Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order) with which he was presented in October 1936 during a trip to England for his health. This portrait must have been taken therefore in England during the visit since he had not returned to Malaya by December.
